“Listeners and musicians are encouraged to wander around the performance space during the concert, while digital cameras track their motion.”

Real-time music composition by means of audience participation and interaction.  Sweet.  No word if it was inspired by that quintessential hair act of the ’80’s pictured above.

The early 20th century was bursting with predictions concerning how life would change by the year 2000.  While flying cars and vacations in space have yet to become a reality, one such prediction was remarkably accurate, foretelling the use of personal mobility devices (e.g. the Segway).  Click the link for an image depicting the “Footmobile” from a December, 1900 issue of a local Wisconsin newspaper.

A mid-80’s Microsoft promotional video given to vendors to push their new Windows 386 package.  Fairly bland corporate dialogue until about the 7 minute mark.  Then it’s just frighteningly dreadful, nostalgia-induced sickening, and entertaining all together.

Ah the 80’s.  ‘Twas a magical time.
