Probably the most innovative use of a tuba since I used my brother’s as a kitten cannon.

Oops.  Today’s Tuesday’s Terrific Track is a little late.  Much apologies.  Hope it’s worth the wait.

Back in 1970, John Denver released a little album called “Whose Garden Was This“.  On that album, John performed mostly covers, from The Band’s “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down” to today’s track, “Eleanor Rigby” by The Beatles.  While John has certainly been responsible for some hits in his day (”Rocky Mountain High”, “Take Me Home Country Roads”, etc.), this particular choice of cover was not well advised.  The album, unsurprisingly, did not do well.

But in the efforts of a higher state of enlightenment (and maybe a little intestinal discomfort), I offer it up to you, the listener, to decide.  Enjoy…or not.

Artist: John Denver
Website: Official
Track: Eleanor Rigby

No, not what you were thinking, dirty hippie.  These are unique elevators from around the world.  A far cry from that one you made out in at Sears with that cute girl in junior high.

I bet you’re wondering how Shelly is doing right now.  I’m guessing 5 kids, an equal number of tattoos, a Kentucky waterfall, and chain smoking Marlboros, no filter.  Best move on.
