The Bees “Chicken Payback” Video

Band of Bees (or simply, The Bees) are a British band with founding members that hail from the Isle of Wight (for more info, click here: The Bees Official Website. They’ve created a music video for their song “Chicken Payback”, whose lyrics evoke a reaction similar to one you might experience when suddenly face-to-face with a one-eyed pelican who is reading the latest Farmer’s Almanac aloud in a boisterous Estonian accent while chewing used gum that people stick on railings while waiting in line at the local theme park. In case you’re not familiar with that reaction, shrug your shoulders, scratch your head, and say “Huh?” and you’ll be close.
Add to that these elements in the music video: multiple actors of Asian ethnicity, a rockabilly pompadour, a female bystander whose hair is used as an ashtray, and the huge pop culture arcade game phenom that is Dance Dance Revolution. Seeing is believing.
