Really awful Halloween costumes from back in the day when pretending to be your favorite character meant donning a cheaply made plastic face cutout and trash bag. Costume manufacturers turned kids into walking, talking, sometimes snot-encrusted and crying advertisements for various tv shows, movies, etc…

Ah memories. I didn’t care as long as I got a decent haul of candy that night.

“Aw man, I just got an apple and 5 pennies.”

That transaction would earn an instant blacklisting for next year and a pranking for the current.
