“The Little Fat Fridge is a fantastic and funky solution for refrigeration in temporary living spaces, small apartments and dormitories. The prototype, designed by Zev Perlmutter for Israel’s Promise Design, is made from light, inexpensive materials– PVC and styrofoam- -and runs on an electric cooling system. The highly-portable appliance stands only five feet tall and features six slots for fridge-front photos.”

Pretty cool. Get it? Fridge…cool? You all stink.

The “Gouge Your Ears Out With An Icepick” Tour

So I’m driving into work today and hear a radio spot promoting a tour stop in Cincinnati of the following powerhouse bands: Cinderella, Ratt, Quiet Riot, and Firehouse. Yeh, ok, back in the day I listened to a little Quiet Riot, but come on. Aren’t these bands supposed to stay in Japan where they are *cough* appreciated? The tour is sponsored by VH1 Classic and entitled “Rock Never Stops”. That’s true, rock should never stop; what these bands do, however, I could not in good conscience classify as rock. Maybe hair spray-induced, spandex-restricted, brain-melting noise, but not rock. Isn’t this the “music” the FBI uses to wear down suspects? Ugh.
